The “Bernadette of Lourdes” recital for pilgrimages
“Bernadette of Lourdes” is the story of the fascinating and inspiring Marian apparitions to the young Bernadette Soubirous. For 2023, members of the cast will be performing a recital of the musical at the Saint Bernadette church (Côté Carmel) in the Sanctuary.
These are the dates on which the Bernadette of Lourdes recital will be performed at the Sanctuary of Lourdes with the pilgrimages:
15th April with pilgrims from Annecy
19th April with pilgrims from Rennes
23rd April with young pilgrims from Montpellier
30th April with pilgrims from Créteil
16th May with pilgrims from Chambéry
18th May with Franciscan pilgrims and other groups (Rosary Basilica)
8th July with pilgrims from Vie et Souffle
18th July with pilgrims from Blois and Montpellier
26th July with pilgrims from Clermont-Ferrand
3rd August with pilgrims from Le Mans
All performances start at 3 p.m. at the St Bernadette church on the Carmel side, EXCEPT 18th May when the performance will be at the Rosary Basilica at 3 p.m.
The performances are open to all pilgrims who are in Lourdes that day (ticket office on site).
The recital of “Bernadette de Lourdes” and WYD in Lourdes
This summer, Lourdes will be a stopover town for young people as they travel to and from WYD in Lisbon.
Young people will be able to immerse themselves in the message of Lourdes and the life of Bernadette, thanks to the cast of the “Bernadette of Lourdes” musical who will be performing on 22nd, 24th, 25th, 29th and 30th July, as well as on 7th August.
